Engaging with psychosexual therapy does not require being in a relationship or even having the intention to participate in sexual activity. The fundamental aspects of connection, intimacy, and affection are universal and should be accessible to everyone. Through education and knowledge sharing, individuals can better understand these concepts.
It is natural to feel apprehensive about sharing personal details, particularly when these matters influence one's sexual experiences or self-confidence. Sexual concerns are often multifaceted, involving biological, psychological, and social elements. These issues can stem from various experiences, thoughts, or physical health conditions, which can be explored through individual counselling.
During psychosexual therapy sessions, there is an emphasis on exploring what has brought you to seek support, as well as reviewing historical learnings and experiences that are relevant to your current situation. This process helps to identify the underlying factors that may be contributing to your concerns.

When intimacy and sexual expression are functioning well, these aspects tend to integrate seamlessly into daily life, fostering a dynamic and positive environment. However, if challenges arise in this area, the resulting ripple effects can influence all facets of communication and connection within the relationship.
My therapeutic approach draws upon the principles of compassionate relational therapy, which emphasises kindness and accountability. Additionally, I incorporate elements of relational counselling and relational life therapy, known for a direct and interactional style. These frameworks guide my practice, and I am currently working towards certification with the Relational Life Institute to enhance my expertise further.
In order for relationship therapy to be effective, it is essential that the relationship is not impacted by problematic addiction, physical abuse, or ongoing affairs. If any of these issues are present, I will not proceed with joint sessions and will instead recommend referral to appropriate specialised services, which may include individual counselling.

I have extensive experience in small group work and also excel at presenting to larger audiences. I take pleasure in challenging individuals to think differently and foster shame-free discussions about sexuality.
Additionally, I am passionate about education and knowledge sharing, and I welcome opportunities for individual counselling and relational counselling. Please feel free to reach out if you're interested in collaborating or sharing insights with a broader audience.
